Albert OJWANG AUTOPSY RESULTS: PATHOLOGISTS RULE OUT SELF-INFLICTING INJURY CLAIMS

LEADERS CONDEMS POLICE BRUTALITY REGARDING Albert OJWANG’S DEATH

The autopsy of the late albert ojwang who died in police custody under mysterious circumstances has been revealed today by patholigist dr. Benard midia. The autopsy reveals that ojwang died from head injuries ,neck compression and multiple soft tissue trauma .

An autopsy has been conducted today on the body of albert ojwang who died under mysterious circumstances in central police custody. The autopsy was revealed by lead pathologist, benard midia following the pulling out of the government pathologist jahansen oduor in circumstances that still remain unclear.

The autopsy reveals that the death of ojwang was due to head injuries ,features of neck compressions ,soft tissue injuries spread all over the body and that are pointing towards assault.

“The cause of death is very clear; head injury, neck compression and other injuries spread all over the body that are pointing towards assault,” state pathologist Bernard Midia said.

The pathologist further ruled out self- inflicted injuries as earlier alleged by police officers. The death of albert has sparked outragious reactions among the public including protests. Distressed kenyans family, activists and law society of kenya, have demanded for justice upon his untimely death.

“But the bleeds that we found on the scalp… on the skin of the head were spaced, including on the face, sides of the head and the back of the head,” Dr Midia said at a press conference.

“There were also multiple soft tissue injuries spread all over the body, including the head, neck, upper limbs and the trunk and lower limbs… these were injuries that were externally inflicted,” he added.

Various political leaders including odm leader raila odinga and wiper leader kalonzo musyoka , have raised concerns about ojwang’s demise claiming that it was unnatural and unfair which they term it as violation of human rights. They now want all the perpetrators of his death to be unmasked.

“There is a young man identified as ALbert Ojwang is crying and his after is even crying at the police station,” said Kalonzo.

Specimens have been gathered and sent to other investigative agencies to gather more evidence to help in corroborating the initial pathologist reports. All eyes are now on the national police body to see if justice will be served to ojwang’s family following his unexpected death.

The kenyan online influencer albert ojwang died after suffering serious head injuries in his cell which according to officials was suicide. His body was moved to the mortuary as the independent policy oversight authority launches investigation on circumstances of his death. Albert’s father, meshack ojwang shared his grief following his son’s death.

He explained the influencer was arrested on Saturday June 7, in migori after being accused of insulting a senior police officer. Authorities say the matter is under investigations but questions continue over custodial safety and violation of rights.
