RUTO AND GACHAGUA TRADE SHARP ACCUATIONS

MOUNT KENYA POLITICS HEATS UP

Just a day after former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua stormed meru criticizing the kenya kwanza government for sidelining the MT Kenya region, president William Ruto has pitched camp in the same county hitting back at gachagua’s criticisms reaffirming his commitment to development amidst raising political tensions.

“You don’t threaten a government with empty rhetoric. Leadership is about ideas, direction, and service to the people, not personal ambition or tribal posturing,” he added.

Former deputy president rigathi gachagua stormed meru accusing president ruto of prioritizing roads to his private hotel in meru instead of building roads for meru residents. But barely 24hours later president ruto arrives in meru and hits back defending his right t0 invest anywhere including meru.

“This government is going to continue developing the country, and that is why I will welcome anyone who is willing to work for Kenyans,” President Ruto stated. “But for those who want to campaign, go do that. Won’t we meet them in 2027? How skilled are they, anyway?”

Gachagua attacked president ruto, stating that he would not agree to join him in ‘killing children,’ accusing ruto of attempting to divide the mountain through his impeachment and the so-called ‘soprano guy.’ in response, ruto hit back strongly, describing his critics as people without any agenda, saying they only call him names. He affirmed that he is firm and strong enough, and vowed to send them home early in the morning come 2027.

“They have no agenda whatsoever; they are busy threatening and making noise, but the truth is they stands for nothing meaningful; their only agenda is to incite people with ‘Ruto must go’ chants,” the President asserted.

Gachagua’s successor kithure kindiki threw his full weight behind the state urging him to invest where he chooses. He dismissed those critiquing their agenda saying they do not understand them and they should leave and disappear completely.

“Those whose only message is the chants about who will be in office for how long, or who speaks with what kind of voice, will be swept away by the torrential downpour of an increasingly smarter, enlightened and no-nonsense public who can no longer buy delusion from politicians,” he said.

While keeping his speech short kindiki said he does not want to talk much as his boss is there but he will be back to Meru County to deal with those arrogant people.

“Today I don’t want to talk much because the boss is here. I want to hold my meeting here in Meru. There are some people I see walking around with a bit of arrogance,” he said.

“My friend, today the President is the one standing here. I want to come and stand here by myself and deal with these men — take them on swiftly,” he added.

As 2027 is drawing closer, political temperatures are rising in the Mount Kenya region, with leaders competing hard for support and the future of the area hanging for balance.
