GACHAGUA: IT’S TIME FOR LIBERATION FOR OUR COUNTRY

With the launch of the democracy for the citizen’s party (dcp), ousted deputy president-turned-party leader rigathi gachagua has promised to be the hope of Kenya. Speaking during the launch in lavington, Nairobi, gachagua affirmed his commitment to being a voice of reason and to offering a listening ear to Kenyans — a democratic right citizens have been denied for far too long.

“Kenyans have boldly told us they have a solution to the problems facing them. Kenyans have asked us to start a party which will form a government by the people for the people,” he noted.

“I made a promise to you that in the month of May, I would unveil a new political party whose philosophy resonates with you. As you all know, I’m a truthful and honest man; i keep my promises. We finally have a political party that belongs to all of us, where every Kenyan is treated equally,” he said.

He race to the 2027 presidency is gaining momentum, with leaders declaring their ambition to pursue the top seat. With the newly unveiled democracy for the citizen’s party led by rigathi gachagua, he has pledged to respond to the need for social, economic and political change in the country.

‘Our message is clear, the people of Kenya have unfinished business with you. We have a date with you in august 2027.we have not forgotten what you did to our economy or to the young women and men in June 2024,’ he said.

‘We have not forgotten the countless lies and empty promises you make on us every day. We have not forgotten. We shall remind you in august 2027,’ he concluded.

Gachagua has made known Kenyans have no one to listen to their cries and would also like to actively participate in leadership and governance of their country. He added Kenyans are tired of organized and state crime and violence.

As a party, we believe every Kenyan should be listened to by their leaders. This listening must not just be listening for the sake of it; it must be deliberate, planned, have a purpose, and it must be sustainable. At no given time in our leadership shall Kenyans be left behind or remain unheard,” he added.

With the party currently receiving thousands of applications from aspirants across the country, gachagua has assured those seeking elective positions that there will be no preferred candidates, emphasizing that the party belongs to the people of Kenya.

As gachagua steps onto the national stage with the launch of his new political party, Kenya’s political terrain simmers with more uncertainty with Kenyans having to continue playing a waiting game to see what the awaited 2027 race will bring forth.
