KINDIKI IS ON AN EMPOWERMENT TOUR IN UKAMBANI

Deputy President kithure kindiki is on a week-long economic empowerment tour across ukambani. Kindiki was warmly received by members of parliament from makueni at wote grounds. As local leaders unite in support of the kenya kwanza administration, praising the tangible benefits they are receiving, opposition leaders have criticized the empowerment initiative valued at approximately 100 million shillings per week calling it a misplaced priority and a conduit for corruption.

Deputy president kindiki’s economic empowerment drive has gained momentum as it reaches the ukambani region. At wote grounds, speakers expressed their support for the kenya kwanza government. The deputy president used the opportunity to urge wiper leader kalonzo musyoka to embrace the government’s initiatives and distance himself from the opposition, whom he criticized.

“If you people allow me. I will go and look for my big brother Kalonzo. Between me and Gachagua, who has respect for Kalonzo? I will call him anytime because he is my big brother. We need people who mean well for Kenya,” he said.

“What I want to ask from him is that the same way God has helped him get to that level, he should start looking for younger leaders from this region and nurture them so that they can have the ability to take the community and the country further,” he added.

Kibwezi west mp mwengi mutuse who spoke during the empowerment programme highlighted the stark contrast between the current administration and previous regimes, noting that past governments neglected critical infrastructure projects like the ukia-emali road. He lauded president william ruto’s government for allocating 4 billion shillings in the 2025/2026 finance bill towards completing the thwake dam, a key development project.

“We are developing this region as every part of our country because there is no part of the country that is not important,” DP assured.

Mwala member of parliament vincent musyoka, popularly known as kawaya, went bare knuckle on the former deputy president, calling on makueni residents to reject the divisive narratives pushed by gachagua. Kawaya accused the former deputy president of failing to advocate for the interests of the ukambani region while in office.

Other leaders who addressed the crowd have commended kindiki for his exemplary leadership during his tenure as interior cabinet secretary and encouraged him to continue supporting president william ruto as he fulfills his promises to kenyans.

Despite a fuss from the opposition side, deputy president kithure kindiki continues with his economic empowerment programme across the country, committed to delivering what the kenya kwanza administration calls tangible benefits to kenyans.

On the other hand, The Wiper leader and opposition figure, Kalonzo Musyoka, has outright rejected rumors of an alliance between himself and President William Ruto as well as with Ruto’s Deputy, Kithure Kindiki calling them attempts to undermine opposition unity. The response comes after Kenya Kwanza leaders, led by Deputy President Kindiki, continue hosting empowerment projects in kalonzo’s stronghold.

“Whether talks have been ongoing or not, this is not the first attempt by the Kenya Kwanza Alliance to woo Kalonzo. There is nothing new and it shouldn’t cause a concern. Politics is about interest. Our leader is a principled man and he will always negotiate for the benefit of Ukambani region. As of now it’s a wait and see situation until we strike a deal,” said Musyoka’s close ally who sought anonymity.

Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo has refused the claims that Kalonzo will join Kenya Kwanza.

“Kalonzo will not join Kenya Kwanza, infact hes working to unseat this regime that is filled with corruption.Right now more than ever he stands a chance for presidency,”he said.
