LOOMING POLITICAL DIVORCE BETWEEN THE PRESIDENT AND HIS DEPUTY

The political temperatures are rising, pressure is mounting and tensions are seizing the nation amid a looming political divorce between the ruling government. Uncertainty has flooded everywhere and broken the banks of anxiety. Is it another face of Tangatanga Chronicles? Well, your guess might be as good as mine. Isn’t it too early for this?

With Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua trying to garner the Mount Kenya support into one basket whilst selling the “One man one vote one shilling” he seems to be facing quite a rock of opposition from Kenya Kwanza MPs. Gachagua is a frustrated man, with the fear of being short-changed with his close tribemate Hon. Ndindi Nyoro who is undoubtedly forging concrete steps into securing his position come 2027. Betrayal has been the ir Gachagua breathes everywhere calling out his boss, Dr William Samoei Ruto for despising him. Gachagua has decided to make active and robust his foundation Rigathi Gachagua Foundation with the slogan “A Villager”. Is this his counter-move to face his boss and party MPs who have occasionally accused him of tribalism?

A duo that seemed unbreakable has since become loose due to differences in ideologies and power struggles in the government. The deputy president has missed several presidential events without notice with the latest one being a no-show at JKIA when President William Ruto was landing in the country from Italy. Gachagua has vowed to say the truth, a truthful man he is, and shall not be intimidated while seeing the citizens suffer at the hands of his boss.
He has called out the 4th President of the Republic, Uhuru Kenyatta to come together so that they can unite the Mount Kenya people. Politics a game of chess seems to have checkmated Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and is now running to any closest refuge to salvage his situation in government.
